143whp with an aem cai and custom exhaust, thoughts, comments? BRING EM ON !

also turns out i didnt install the 2ndary system up right....so thats were all the trq went? so thats why i thought i magially went deaf in the ears at 5800rpms?

ya, i figure it aint great, it aint terrible either...my stock cat sux0rs pretty bad, hopefully swap in a carsound cat soon

i went to DRT in queens, NY a couple of weeks ago. threw the car on the dyno and the 1st run was 147hp. he messed with the V-AFC and 2nd run 161 hp. the final numbers were 155 hp on the 13th run.
why did it go down?...13 runs and that motor was pretty hot, so he set it back to the settings from the 2nd run with 161 hp.

mods: short stack intake, 5 Zigen cat back, skunk mani, ITR cams, v-afc, OBDI conversion w/ skunk program.
oh, and the motoris a 99 B18C1.

i'll try to post the dyno plots soon.

yeah i guess...just need a dayam header!!! but i'm debating whether or not to take the catout...emissions are in may

my 70k mile b18c with a crap hot air intake, jdm dc 4-1, 2.5" cat, greddy sp only put down 153/116 or something, and needed a tune up. I was hoping for a little higher but never got around to dynoing after the tune up and AEM CAI.

Car ran a 14.01@98.97 in a 92 Si hatch though, so I figured it was strong enough.

ya, im def in need of a tuneup, and the cat has to go asap....the 2ndarys arnt helping much either as far as trq is concerned, hopefully next time i`ll see some 150's

i don't remember the peak torque number when the hp was 162 (?) so i just had them print out the last 3 runs which were around 155. i just wanted a general idea of where i stand for now. i really need a header!!! my friend wants me to buy his old DC 4-1 one piece for like 200, but i don't know if i should get the jdm header instead.

i want to do the jdm, but i would want a 2.5 inch cat to go with it, and that costs$$$! but right now i'm saving for a desperatly needed paint job, which i got an estimate for $1800!!! maybe this summer i'll do the header...
as for track numbers, i ran a best 14.4 @ 95 last season (including just the swap w/ a skunk mani, 5ZR cat back, and skunk mani)

now i have R cams and a chipped P28 (skunk program). those mods woke the car up!!! so i'm HOPING to hut 13's this year with what i have, but we'll see!
do you think this is good for my setup so far?
