Default WTB: D16Y8 full motor or block

Need a replacement motor. Prefer full motor, but will consider block only. Prefered in Cincinnati/tri state area.

I will keep you in mind. Would be easier for me if i can find a complete motor. The one in the car now has a spun bearing. I bought this car just to fix and sell. May be interested in your rims as well.

Thanks for the offer. The motor in this car now runs, it just started knocking. Im sure it is a spun bearing. I think it might be easier to fix the one it it now than hone the one you have for sale. I am just trying to find a motor that is ready to swap in, or just throw a head on it and swap in. If i do not find one local in the next week or 2 I will have the motor out and may just repair it as long as it is feasible. This car is not my daily driver, so i am in no hurry. I bought it just to fix and prolly sell. 97 EX 4 door with 109,XXX for $500. Dudes GF ran it low/out of oil. It runs but is knocking. So i am really trying to find something with in driving distance and cheap. I will keep you in mind though.

well, the engine came out of a running car like almost 2 weeks ago. the guy did a b16 swap. the motor really does not need a hone, but its always proper engine building techniques here. the thing has 68,xxx miles on it out of a 2000 ex. only ran with mild bolt ons like intake, header. it should be perfectly fine to put in right away. and, im only looking for like 275-300 shipped.

just put new rod bearings in it, jeez.. dont drive it either and you might be able to get away without getting a new crank, very easy just take the oil pan off...
