Swapping a Autp trans EG to Manual? Yes I search, is it worth it? and a question on mounts
with mounts, do they bolt in and then I can have them welded or do I need to attach them to the motor, set the motor in place and go from there. I hope I can just bolt and weld them in.
motor would be ls vtec in a eg hatch

In automatic cars the top tranny mount chassis bracket sits differently than a manual car so you do need that mount as stated above. Then just get the nexccesary bseries mounts. You also need a slave cylinder along with the lines, pedal assembly etc
the mount on the frame on the passenger side sits further out from the fire wall on a manual. the place i had to my swap just cut it and welded it further out. on the drive home from that shop, it broke. so i had to order a new one from Honda, and have the old one cut of and new one re-welded in. i havent heard anyone else having any similar problem with their auto to manual conversion, but that was my main issue.
how hard is it to do the wiring conversion to make the auto to manual work...sorry i'm new to honda-tech...i'm building up a k20a2 on a=n auto chassis and i believe that's the only thing holding me up...any help would be great...
