eg motor mount
does the motor mount on the shell of an eg the same regardless if it used to be automatic and is now standard shift? i picked up a new shell and it was auto now st. and the pass side mount was cut leaving just one bolt is there a legit reason for this

They are different. I believe the mount bracket in the automatics, is spot welded slightly closer to the firewall than the manual chassis (otherwise it's closer to the front of the car; I always forget which). So the transmission mounts should correspond with that change as well. Hasport makes a auto to manual mount to fix this problem, or you could remove the bracket and weld a new one on.

the rest of the mounts are the same and will work fine. The only one that is different is the top tranny mount (on the frame rail)
but it sounds like this has already been swapped, so you should be good to go with any swap you could do (manual tranny of course)
so putting your b-series mounts in the car now shouldn't be a problem. (I'd maybe put more than 1 bolt in that tranny mount though. It should be re-welded to the frame, but just my $.02)

well, like I said, your mounts should be ok. (as long as they are EG mounts, and not EF or something like that)
as for the passenger frame mount, when you do an auto to manual conversion, the mount in the car has to be cut off, and then the 5 speed mount welded into place. Just throwing that out there. If the mount is attached solidly, and a 5 speed is in the car and working, and your axles aren't binding up or anything, then there should be no problem what-so-ever.
