600 RR Exhaust fumes
I'm a newbie who owns a 600 RR (03). After riding in traffic my clothes and backpack smell like exhaust fumes(quite unbearable at times). I have a full Akropovic system on it. Is this normal?
Your bike is running rich. You need to pick up a PCIII USB, install it and have it dynoed tuned. Honda bikes are notorius for running rich from the factory. Yammys on the other hand tend to run very lean.
Get a PCIII and have it installed properly, which you should have done with a full system anyways.
I had this same issue with a friends bike and he was running just a slip/on. PCIII and a tune later it runs great and has some serious HP. Ive dynoed a few 100% stock RRs and they cranked 110HP at the wheels no mods at all. So with tuning and a full sys you may see an increase of as much as 10HP. however 5-8 is more likely. You should add an airfilter to that combo as well. You made it easier for the exhaust to get out faster, make it easier for the air and fuel to get in and combust.
