Default Please HELP with this issue!!!

I have a 01' F4I 600 and when I first start it up I let if get to temp first and it feels and

sounds like its running on 2 or 3 cylinders. I take it down the road and at about 12k it

clears up and runs fine. Before it clears up it does smoke a bit (black smoke) and smells

like gas. The bike has a full 2 brothers exhaust. I have had new plugs, timing chain,

tensioner, injectors cleaned, and the bike has 16k miles. I was told that a power

commander or a tune would fix this. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Anytime you put or run a full exhaust system you should run a commander and get it mapped to the exhaust your running. If you just run a slip on no need -Reeff-

It runs the same even after its warm. I have to ride it and take it over 12k to get it to stop. Once it revs over 12k with load on the motor its fine.
