Hi,
I recently sold my 1997 ITR, and it's probably one of the biggest things I've ever regretted doing. Anyway, I bought the car used, and it was missing the armrest, so I never knew what number it was. If I have the VIN# still, will that help me find out which number it was, or am I screwed? I always wanted to know this.

i think you are screwed. unless you have your original window sticker

 

There is no cross reference sheet with VIN's vs. production numbers. Your best bet would be to contact a previous owner and hope they remember.

Get another one with an arm rest

I have never heard of your production number being found on the original window sticker either.

 

My window sticker does not have my ITR # on it FWIW.

 

The window sticker does NOT show the ITR #.
