Default cat back exhaust question

yo guys im planning to buy a greddy cat back exhaust for my 2001 prelude, is it a bolt on and ready to go? do i still need to weld it something like that? k thanks!

no you have to weld the ehaust to the cat for better flow!!

if you were going to hack up a cat back exhaust to weld it on then you should just get a universal muffler and custom piping. The whole point of a cat back is that it's basically the same thing but bolts up into the stock location. Besides, isn't there some kind of regulation prohibiting welding within a certain distance of the cat... iirc the heat from welding isn't good for it??
