Default DA Lighting Question

Hey guys, the next thing i was wanting to do on my 91 DA was rewire the bumper lights to come on with the corner driving lights, and change the bulb to make it a bright yellow, like you see on lexus' and other luxury cars, kinda like this

What kind of bulbs would i use, is this possible? Anyone know where to find a DIY write up on rewiring these lights?

Also, my passenger side corner light has some kind of short in it and doesnt come on anymore, i've replaced the bulb, is this a common flaw, any ideas where to start with that?

not a good idea...from what i head they will melt the lenses. rewire your fog lights so they can come on all the time...

Well, im not sure whats up with my foglights...

I put some blue bulbs in them once thinking it'd be cool.. and drove around with them always on..

Then one day they stopped working, they bulbs aren't blown, but the bulbs i used were to high of wattage, i guess i blew something?

get the 1-pieces. better lighting in general and yellow fogs. the yellow is not a balla thing, they work better. yellow light waves go further in denser air than white, and don't reflect as badly either. that's why i put 100watt aux. 4-inch round driving/fog lights on my integra.

Any pics? I might have a similar setup, just not yellow.

I also attest to the yellow bulbs working out better. I've recently dropped my 1pcs in and went with the luminics bulbs in yellow and I enjoy them greatly. They work a HELLUVA lot better in the rain and fog than my old white/blue bulbs did and they seem to be a bit brighter. On the fogs side, I haven't touched them, the fogs are what came in them when I got them but the yellow cover on those work out nicely as well.

this is from last memorial day.gives an excellent lighting "path" on dark highways without having to switch on the hi-beams. but i really try to use them in fog or snow. otherwise i keep the factory fogs on all the time to help the low-beams have a better lighting path.

edit: i also blacked-out the turn signal housings to kinda match the lower side intakes. i'm tempted to take out the assemblies and make some ducting for the brakes.
and yes, i really did live in germany...not trying to be edm yO!!

Haha nice, they're a lot like mine other then being yellow,
I still have to get some spray so they can be.

i didn't use spray. i went to a theatre store and bought "gels". basically a clear plastic that they use for theatre lighting. a sqaure foot sheet was a few bucks. cut it and laid them inside the lenses. easier and quicker than painting.

Check the wires that run to the bulb, mine were brittle on that side and ended up breaking apart from each other. I replaced it with new wire and soldered it in.
