is their anyway to fix a door squeek other than dw-40? i know it happend in my EG and now its happening in my friends EG. it only does it when its cold, is there anything that can be done

 

try actaully greasing it, when mine squeek'd i'd wd40 it, a temp fix, so i took my door off and actaully put grease on it and put the door back on it and greased the outter hinge and havent had a problem in over a year!

wd40 is a temp fix, lke duct tape in most apps

 

what type of grease?

 

I used 3 in 1 oil on mine and it hasn't made a noise in over a year

 

i used chassis grease out a grease gun

 

Get some white lithium grease or silicone spray and put it on the hinges.
