Default is this bad? ECU

the orange coding is stripped off on mine. its just a metal bar across. is that bad. will my ecu still work?

orange coding??

Do you mean orange coating?

Thats a non-directional capacitor. if its a metal bar, then thats 0 resistance, like a wire. You'll have to replace the capacitor by removing the old one and soldering in a new one.

if you're vtec manual tranny you don't need that piece.
