Default HELP!?!?!?!?!!

i am changing the timing belt in a b16a1 that just came in from Hmotors, i counted the teeth on the timing belt that came on it and the teeth of the new belt but also. the belt i got is for a del sol 97 i believe and its a b16a2. after i removed the old belt, and put the new one on, i realized that its very loose? they are the same thing. i roated the crank 2 times and put it back at TDC and it didnt jump a tooth, its just loose, and has some "sag" at the top b/w the 2 cam gears?.... any idea..

i'd check w/ the tensioner. but if you don't know what you're doing, paying a pro to do it is pretty good insurance on your newly purchased motor. if you want to learn how to do it then ask till you find someone who will share the knowledge. don't expect to get everything for free, cut corners where you can, but not at the risk of your motor.

Try pulling up on the tensioner ( use a coat hanger ) and then retighten the tensioner.

Sometimes the tensioner will not put enough tension on it.
