Default ECU wiring

Im putting a d16z6 vtec head on my friends 89 CRX Si... He has the P28 ECU from the a d16z6. As you probably know the d16a6 harness doesn't fit the P28 ECU. What is the best and cheapest way to hook this up? Is it possible to just buy the d16z6 harness adapters (the plugs that go in to the ECU) and plug the d16a6 wires into the new plugs. If so does anyone have some sort of diagram. Remember I need Vtec to activate.

to my friend getting his SR20DET in his 240sx. I know its not but its still sweet.

well one thing you c a n try is this:

- retain your friends 89 Si distributor and somehow mickey mouse it to stay on the Z6 head.

- get a hold of JDM PR3 B16A ECU and have it reprogrammed (I guess by me, since I seem to be the only one with mugen PR3 program with a few disabled sensors).

Converting an 88-91 EF to obd1 is kind of a bitch if you don't know how to do it. It's easiest to leave your car NOBD, and get a NOBD VTEC ecu (PR3).

the problem with an RPM activator switch route is that you're still stuck with the lame fuel/timing maps of a non-vtec ecu...
