I'd like to know, I am doing this soon. I think I am going to get some projector headlights (the ones that don't look ricer), and retrofit those, instead of clearing the lens in front of the headlight. I want no glare at all, just a razorsharp cut-off.

when you find a set of projectors w/o the "projector" fog light thing, let me know. ALL the ones I find have that crap; it ruins the lines of the car.

talking about that lil nipple on most of them? i believe that the earlier models of those headlight were light the one peices. i was going to buy the earlier models and take the covers off and install them on my jdm one peices and retrofit my own projector while the covers were off/.

I think that is what they are called; not the DOT alignment nipples, but the dome/projector in the cover where the foglight sits. I'm trying to find a set of older styles that didn't have those. If I don't, I'm going to buy a set of one pieces, take them apart, and take the lenses to the plastic bender in town. I asked him about making custom pieces, he said it wouldn't be too expensive using acrylic; just cover them with that clear rock guard stuff.

Don't know, sometime in the future.

That's a great idea. I might have to try that. I wonder how much work that'll involve. I guess my Dremel will save my *** again as usual!!
