stupid check engine light question
well i have a 98 civic coupe lowerd and thats all, no frat can or anything like that done to it, my check engine light comes on for like 3 weeks at a time then shuts off, then comes back on then repeats, i just did the timing belt and water pump but it started to do that right before i did the belts, im just dont really feel like payin someone to check it or whatever, i think it might be my o2 sensor, i bought it with 65,000 on it and now it has 115,000, and i have only had it for about a year nd 6 months so if you might now was it is just post back thanks

OK, so what code was it? That's going to tell you what the problem is. How are we supposed to guess over the internet?

no one can tell you what it is there is a ot of codes the cars throw out there we cant just pull a random prob outa are butts my opinion just go to a sevice station and have them check the code they can also give you pointers on how to fix the prob and if you cant afford the 10 bucks for them to check it well you can check it yourself there is a page in here somewere that tells you how. hope that helps
