Default Help installing REAR speakers in a 1994 Civic EX coupe

Hey I can't figure out how to remove the rear speaker grill. Can someone help me?

Also, would I blow a speaker if I mixed the positive and negative wires up? Because I cant figure out which wire is which. Thanks guys.

in the trunk you have one of two things, either 3 bolts holding it on or 3 skrews.

if you have bolts its easy, i think a 10 mm or mabye a 9mm.

if it is skrews its a little more difficult.

there are gonna be 3 holes that are larger than the rest, if you look inside those then you will see a skrew in each one. easy to remove skrews, harder to put em back in

well you fold the rear seats down. then you can start taking off the big panel with the speaker covers on it ( they are not detachable) unhook the third brake light and pop off the clips and bolts that hold the panel in. with the wiring dont mix them up, it wouldnt sound the same.
