cracked header by o2, bogging.....anybody help?
alright, dont laugh, i have a d15b7 in my hatch, the header is cracked right by the top o2....the car bogs really badly between about 1700 and 2000 rpm....could it be the header or do i have to get new o2? car has about 76k on it.
alright, thanks for the reply, didn't think that it was a problem, just checking though, guess i should try and torch the o2...or open up the wallet and get a new one...
If the car isn't throwing a code for an O2 sensor, then it's probably not an O2 sensor issue. Check your FITV and IACV and get back to us. Bogging in low RPM like that is usually ignition related - read: coil. Do some searches and cross reference the symptoms.
it doenst bog when im cruising, and it is throwing a code, but i cant find the stupid harness to put the paper clip in, it only bogs when i starting out in 1st between like 1600rpm, and 2000rpm, and then if i get on it though, when i shift into second, i can feel it kind of bogging a little bit, until about 4000rpm-4500rpm.
