Default Hesitation ????

Today i was driving and it feels like my car is hesitating and losing all power at around 3k and then stops but still feels weak through the rest of the rpm range. This just started yesterday. The car was warm, plugs, wires, distristbuter cap and rotor were all changed within the last 1000 miles. Car has 119k on it. Is not abused but not babied either. No check engine lights. Oil was changed less than 1000 miles ago. Vtec did engage but felt weak.

ignitor might be starting to go.....you can get a whole distributor for close to what the ignitor costs.....and it only takes 5-10 mins to install a distributor....at least it did on my 95vtec

If you are OBDI you have use an H23 or H22 dizzy, but if you are OBDII you need a 97+ dizzy. If you have a 96 you were one of the lucky ones that have to buy alot of stuff.

Not to jack up the threat, but i have an OBDII dizzy for sale, i bought it new and only used for 2k, 75 shipped.

Thanks I'll have to check tht out. The egr valve would usually just involve cleaning it out, correct ?
