Buy a belt for the OBD1 motor, H22A1, 93-96 Lude SRV. That should fit. While you are at it, replace the waterpump, the balancer shaft belts and seals. Most don't replace these parts and get issues about 20-30xxxkms after a new T-belt. Might aswell replace everything while you are doing that, saves money in the long run.

What parts are needed for the timing belt. What are the parts you need to do the whole 90k tune up?

a 1ft difference!? are you sure you have a honda prelude belt? maybe you have a balance shaft belt and think its a timing belt? i dunno, but i don't think you have a h22 timing belt. its a h22, and so h22 belts will fit it whether its jdm or usdm.

i replaced my timing belt, water pump, balance shaft belt, auto-tensioner, crank seal, balance shaft seal, cam seals, valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets, and cam cap (the seal on the intake cam, on the distributor side). its a lot of stuff, but you might as well do it while you're at it. and you will save a few$100 bucks by doing it youself.

Wrong!! They are the same exact belt from 93 to 01 vtec preludes. It sounds to me like he doesnt not know how to install the belt correcty.

He means the difference between the belt he pulled off and the belt they sold him. Not the 93-96 and 97+ belts (which are the same, yes)

Go to a different shop, then because Honda has the same damn part # for all H22s: 14400-P13-014. You don't know what you're doing.

Listen to the technician! They fight you sometimes to get them on but keep trying, it will go on.

F.Y.I make sure the auto tensioner ( if your still using one) is retracted all the way in and has the gold retainer on it that you remove after the belt is on
