Video of my trip down the drag strip...14.37
Thanks to Downeybear11 for taking this video of my car last year at Sears Point Raceway. This was when the car only had a Comptech Icebox intake and some worn Nitto NT-555R drag radials. As you can see I got smoked by the Camaro in the other lane...but it was just a warmup round so we didn't have dial-ins. Some people have trouble with Sears Point, but I've never had...we'll see how everything shakes out now that they are pouring a new strip at the moment...see picture below.

Impressive with the mods you had at the time. Care to share how you launched, if you still remember.

Launch at 45-5000rpm depending upon track conditions, psi should have been around 18-20, slowly release clutch(relatively speaking, not sidestepping the clutch) and go for it. It's about the same every time I launch, I just make adjustments to rpm and tire pressure...try to keep everything else static, less variables.

Alright, you just set yourself up for another question. What do you mean by sidestepping?

No wonder you had such a fast time - that track is downhill!
J/K... The uphill grade of the track after the 1/4 mile gives that illusion. Great time! I hope to make a few 1/4 mile passes this summer.
