Default Checking Cel 4th Gen

i tried doing a diagnostic test and ecountered some problems.
On here http://www.92lude.com/diagnose_error_codes.htm, when i located the blue connector there are 4 pins and i dunno which one to ground out. Should i ground out the 2 wires that run into the 2 pins?

I notice there's a strong gas fume, positive that it's due to the o2 failing and causing the car to run really rich. I was able to attain 138km from half a tank until the gas light came on. So there wasn't any point in running 91octane when she's just going to run really rich. i decided to run regular and my gas mileage improved big time. i can squeeze out 250km to half a tank.
Before all this happened and running on premium , i was only able to squeeze out about 200km to half a tank..

i appreciate any comments.

Thanks

Get a real a/f gauge........and see the reading.

I know a lot of people won't agree with me here - but If the o2 is failing, and its making the car run rich - keep using the cheap gas. As long as the car isn't running pig rich - what the hell. they run rich from the factory. Now, if you're in an area that has emissions, sorry for ya. Get a new o2 sensor and start using 91 octane again.

I notice the gas fume went away when i started using cheap gas. I'll be saving up for both o2 sensors and a hi-flow cat. I won't have to worry about emission for another 1.5years
