i have a 1989 honda civic hatch std d15b6 and i got a d15b2 head i went to put on the head and it lined up perfect but on the block their is a guide slide for the head and gasket well on the head their is one in the same place so the head wont slide on the block is their any way to surpass this this is my only car and it has to be done tonight please help and thanks
I am not sure I completely understand your question.
If I am guessing correctly you are talking about the hollow pin that makes sure the head and gasket fit correctly. You are saying there is one in the head and in the block?
If that is the case just take one of them out, they are removable.
You should be able to pull it out with some pliers.
