Honda Dual-Core Radiator?
On Hybrid Honda their is an article stating that a 96+ Civic EX 4-Door w/automatic has a beefier dual-core radiator. How can you tell how many cores it has. Has anyone seen this in person. I want to know cause it's hot as hell in AZ and I want a bigger radiator with my B18 swap into my '97 CX. Thanks
telling dual and single core radiators apart is easy.
Just look at the side of your current radiator, and see if the its approx. 1/2 inch thick...if it is, then you have a single core. Dual core is just that....dual cores...so 2 x 1/2 = 1". A dual core radiator would be approx. 1" thick in width (it could be a little over 1", that's why I abbreviate 'approximately')...

When you look at it from above (in the car) it will look like they took the A/C condenser and put it behind the radiator......basically two radiators one in front of the other stacked.
