Header For 91 CRX with JDM B16 Swap?!?!?! Which to order?? GSR? Si? Other?
Hey whats up guys my buddy just bought a 91 crx si with a JDM B16 swap and is looking into a header. I've searched a bunch on here and even looked at a few members page's and see you guys are running headers... but which one?? We looked at both Civic Si and GSR headers but realized that theres an o2 in the front of his header... so we're curious which header is the best/most adaptable to run?? I know a bunch of you know your stuff and i dont have any experience with EF's just EG's Ek's DC2's and now i have an nsx.... any help would be greatly appreciated!!

whatever you do do not order a gsr header whatever you do. I did and its to short like u cant put the o2 sensor down at the bottom but it bolts right up but just get a 99 or a 95 honda del sol b16a3 header and it will work perfect thats what I did.
best thing to do is order a header for a 99-00 Si and have 2 O2 bungs welded in at a muffler shop, cost me about 20 bux....also know if you get a header designed for a GSR the collector will have to be extented about 4 inches
ok thanks guys... so the choice will have to be Civic Si or Del sol... now can I use the existing o2 hole in the rear of the Si Header and just add another to the front of the header somewhere??? Also, where exactly did you weld the front bung into??

Im running a four to one from a 00 SI. It fit just right and it has a bung for the O2 and its a dc not bad for my application.

heheh is was on a GSR powered EG for like 2 years and then it was on my SiR powered ED...it is old and i caught it at a bad time.....it did not have a chance to get a shower or put on makeup...i think you hurt her feelings

if he wants an inexpensive header that will provide good results go with the ctr or the first gen itr header...they are 4-2-1 and provide good clearance...i think that the 4-1 is just too big for a b16 unless the motor has been modded...also try to get ur hands on one designed for a 1.6 instead of a 1.8 or 2.0...cuz the ones designed for the larger motors are only going to yield results in the top end

ok, he has a custom 2.5" cat back now but wants to order the skunk2 off ebay... will this ebay header bolt right up to the skunk2 cat back?? Are the collectors the same size... since the header is 2"... anyone know what size the DC collector is... also the header/resinator will be an ok length?
