cel, wont flash codes, did search

Default cel, wont flash codes, did search

Searched,

i'v gone as far as to cutting the grey plug off and warping the 2 wires together but the cel light will still not flash and codes,

iv tried different ecu's and still nothing,

P.s car ia a 92 hatch with sohc zc engine

does the light come on when your driving? when you connect the two wires does the light stay on?

go to autozone.

they will check your CEL free of charge.

Ecu is a p06 and i'v also tried a p28, cel stays on, flashes once when you start the car and stays on


the car is very hard to start all the time usually have to boost it

It wont flash because there are probably no codes stored. And why would you try a different ecu? If there were codes stored they would be in YOUR ecu not some other one you had lying around.

Have you checked the battery? It is probably bad.

battery is no good,
the cel light stays on all the time, and car is a real pain in the *** to start, but once it warms up it runs fine has tons of power, but if it sits for more then an hour or so it takes aleast 10 to 20 min to start

usually when the cel stays on the entire time that means theres a problem with the ecu itself... maybe even with a ground for the ecu...
