Default COOKIE MONSTER project *56k holla at cha boy

well right before thanksgiving weekend i came over a deal on a 2000 si coupe. unfortunately the car has a rebuilt title and has no b16. not to mention no wheels and misc problems. the car does have a full cwest kit. which i do like, paint and body is straight. car drives ok...but needs some work into. i thought i'd just share what do u guys think? i spent less than 4k if anyone is wondering. i don't wanna give the actual amount since i might not be keeping the car.

the pics!

what engine does it have ? otherwise the paint looks good and the cwest front doesn't look too bad imo.

For C-West, that's a shitty fitment.

Why does it have 96-98 Climate controls?

No wonder it doesn't have a B16, because it's probably not an Si.

i was thinking that the other day...might be the headlights or something else. derno. imo i would think it is a replica.

cause it's a rebuilt title, i don't know why it has a 96-98 climate control. i took the climate control out yesterday because i wasn't getting any hot air. i found out it has the 96-98 heater cable thing too, which 99-00 don't. so i'm kinda confused of which heater control system it may have. but the car is an si. says so on the title and i use to work at honda, so yesterday i had the vin checked

O, that's weird.

You don't have heat because the car probably still has the 99-00 heater core, which is electrically actuated, not cable. Plug in a 99-00 Climate Control, and it should work assuming the wiring behind the dash hasn't been messed with.

Don't let a little wiring discourage you. If the wiring is all hacked up, you can get a new dash harness for cheap.

I agree that Canadian Si civic's have the Y8 engine stock; but still, 99-00 Canadian Civics (whether it be Si, dx, or whatever) still had the updated 99-00 electrical climate control.

Ok look. It maybe an SI, but.... its got like a bgillion parts on it not SI, including motor. So I wouldnt waste your money on an SI thats like 99.9% non-SI. Better off getting an EX in this case.

An SI without the motor is not an SI. Kinda like whats the point of living, if you dont have a dick?
