The RCA's on the harness get plugged into the front and rear preouts on the deck. Without seeing a wiring diagram of the deck, I'm going to have to assume that the green RCA's are a sub out; so you'll want to use the ones on the deck itself.

if the adapter harness has 4 rca's then you use the ones that are directly on the radio itself. If the harness only has 2 then you will have to use the front output only. The only thing you will lose you front to rear fade capability, but who uses that anyway. The third set of rca on the radio is for subwoofer, it is on the green rca, do not use these

you can do either one.

but if you want the best ground i would sand a spot off and ground it yourself to the chassis

be careful with that radio I have the same one you may have to run your constant(yellow) and accessory(red) directly to the ignition harness. Upper model Alpines are known to act up when using factory radio power wires.

I've never heard of having to run switched off the ignition harness... Constant, yes... :shrugs:

In this case the Alpines internal amp is not being used, [Bose system] the oem radio harness constant power will work just fine, in fact He may even be able to turn off the internal amp completely so it does not even draw "idle" current. 94
