ok. flywheels. i have 93 civic witha d6z6 in it and i heard that a lightened fly wheel will improve throttle response. will it mess up my crank?
next: every dude out there just has a b16a in their civics. and i know some dudes are making decent power with a d16 and i wanted to know what upgrades give the best imporvements. i might go fi with a jr supercharger but it depends on what i can do naturally apirated. thanks. alot i appreciate it!!!!!!

i can get you some 14:1 compression pistons for a d16...
but thats just nuts...


forced induction is the way to go with d-series.
incase you havent heard of, http://www.d-series.org you should go check them out. there are some kids on there running 12's on d16y7.

 

I just put a new flywheel in my del sol and i get better throttle response.

I would go with a turbo before i went with a supercharger.

 

I'm no fan of the d-series..., and would recommend a swap but.. yea turbo would give you the most improvment.. just make sure to tune it

 

if youre looking for a supercharger send me a pm i have one for sale. but definately boost the D series. if you blow it up u can drop another in for couple hundred bucks tops unlike a B motor. stay true to the D

 

boost is the only way to go for the dirty D, and remember turbo is your friend
