Default Just installed a headunit but the speakers crackle

Today i installed an alpine cda 9851 head unit into my 2001 Integra. My problem is that my speakers crackle when my car is running and i have the volume up to 20. When the car is on but not started, my speakers sound fine on volume 20. I don't know what is going on. Im thinking that I should run an individual power wire from the battery to the unit since it is just wired on to my harness. Am i not getting enough power to my speakers? I have brand new speakers so it can't be that. Please help. TYIA

running new speaker wire wont do any good. only neccesary time to run larger/new wire is when you upgrade to an external amp pushing over 80rms to each channel.

some possibilies could be:
-bad connection
-speaker is blown/shot or becomming to
-loose wiring to the speaker or HU

Try this. re-ground the radio on it own point. Don't use the factory ground that is in on the harness. This ground is shared but many other componets in the dash and will cause problems with some aftermarket radios.
