Ok just the other day i finished installin my turbo kit in my minimee swap...using a Stock D16y8 head on a stock D16y7 block...when i was done with everything the i took it out for a spend...but when i was coming back home, i rev the car to 5k and then the car died out of the blue, but when you have it in gear it make a grinding noise...stop'd the car and check'd everything out and then tried to start it but then it will just crank and crank but it won't start....could this be a blown tranny or what is it...i have tried everything and i don't want to take out the motor cuz its so could in wisconsin...

lift the car up, put it in gear, yank out the plugs and turn the crank. see what happens. gotta start by identifying what doesn't work. when you crank it, does the crank pulley spin?
