I am about to set the bar on some others for sale (sorry fella's)...

1999 Si, salvage title, straight, repaired in 2000, raced since then, prepared by Baumann, 27k miles
Prepared to SSC rules, fresh motor (less 500 miles), some spares, some dings from runoffs (negotiable on repair). Car is fast at all the Southeast tracks that I have come to run over the past 4 or 5 years, 16 wins, 2 SIC championships. Car is at the minimum weight. Some of you on the forum here have seen the car and seen it often If the car is still allowed to run showroom stock prepared in H5 it will dominate with a good driver

Evo II seat
Welded cage with Nascar bars
Fire ext.
Momo Wheel
Push to talk button "in wheel"
Radio harness wired already (included)
(2 Motorola Radios negotiable)

Spares include:
Extra shocks (1 or 2, need to check)
Extra springs (1 or 2, need to check)

Tires: I will sell it with 1 set of NEW rains mounted, and at least 1 set of NEW Kumho 710's and some runoff scrubs (4 or 5 laps) mounted on the other set. More tires (negotiable)
Stock driver seat
Stock steering wheel (no airbags)

Its a very sexy car that only needs gas to race! Damn good on brakes and tires! In fact its boring to crew for this car because your always sitting around..

It was allowed to run in Showroom Stock trim in H5 (un-modded)

H3= modded.

I am checking to see if they still allow it to do so.

 

The provisions to run SS/Prod/GAC cars were for some reason pulled out of the 05 rule book. I hope they make it back in 06.

The 05 rulebook has a provision to allow for cars not classed by making a request to the region directors 30-days before a race weekend. I don't think it would be any trouble to run H5 with this car in ECHC or SEHC.

It's better as an H3 car though ....

True probably better as an H3 car, however if someone *NEW* wanted to start racing immediately and have a fighting chance in HC while racing also in SCCA it would be more fun for a guy/gal entering racing

Got one email asking about wheels, they are Si stock wheels (3 sets).

 

Nice looking car, and not a bad price at all. I'm curious, what IT class would this fit into? Sadly H3 and H5 are non-existent out in the West.

What can you not believe?
The race car market is **** and has been for a couple of years.

Karl can't manage to sell and ITS/H3 GSR with pimpy Konis, LSD, custom cage, etc for $9000. He's been trying for over a year. At this point nothing is "a steal." Everything is a "somebody please just come take it."

For the last 2 years the race was held, I corner worked turn 10.

What an experience... I seem to remember the car. I think Ive seen it at a few national/regional events at moroso as well.

This Civic for sale seems like a great deal to me! I don't like FWD though.
