89 hb + b18a1 + dc 4-1 header = bad!!
i have a 89 civic with a b18a1 and i got a d4-1 header for free (i know i should use a 4-2-1 header for non vtec) and i tried to put it on and it dosen't clear the front cross member at the bottom... what can i do... If i cut a support a lil bit i think that it will damage the support of the car... Please help!

Everyone always says to hit it with a sledgehammer. Doesn't anyone cut slits on each side with a hacksaw first? You can then hit the member down ALOT easier. Cut the slits on each side of where the header will hit. That way, people won't be so worried about bending the crossmember (which is what most people seem to be worried about). IMO, Overkll
