Well guys I thought I would never be making this post agian, after selling it the first time and then getting heR back a year later, but I think I am finally growing up or I have just given up on trying to track the R.
I have so many mixed emotions or plans that I could possibly do, 1) was to keep it and pay it off "pay off is like 2 grand" and keep it as a track car.
2) is to just sell it and move on. I am not sure but I think am starting to feel this way because of the lack of luxuries "even though I fully understand and love the R for what it is" but it is a small car and even though its good on gas and parts are cheap I just think I have out grown it in a daily driving aspect of things.
I have always wanted to track the car, on my days off and when I have the money however its seems that I never have the money, between tires and rims and breaks and all that jazz plus the event costs I can never seem to swing it and still be able to live comfortable with a nice bank account. " I am a student"
so I dont know what I should do.. I swore I would never be that guy who made one of these posts.. however lots of you are my friends and I am sure the rest have gone threw similar feelings and stages so I wanted to get some opionions that were not my own.SO SHOULD I KEEP IT AS A TRACK CAR OR SELL IT? anways hope you all can help thanks.
cliff notes: If i do keep it as a track car once I get hired with the government agency I am in training with I will have extra funds to accomindate both the weekend events and my bank account.

why do you have such a hard time spelling seemingly simple words?

Keep it. You don't NEED to track it right now, or ever if you don't want to. If you really love the car and can afford to keep it until you are more financially stable, do so. If times get so dire that you HAVE to sell it then make this post.
So the plite your in is relative to your financial situation? Is this a safe guess?
If you know your garaunteed this job, why not wait a little longer to make your decision? Perhaps your view on this situation will be different if you know that your getting a good paycheck yah?
If it were me, Id wait. You can always sell it later. Don't do anything rash and regret it.

keep it...$2K to pay it off...thats easy to come by. Then like someone up there ^ said...get a cheap daily beater & (as someone said to me) GET THAT TRACK ***** UP TO SPEED!!!!! Make her do what she was built to do.
Keep driving it until you can afford to get another daily driver.
I was in this same quandary, and I knew I'd never forgive myself if I sold it so I could get a TSX or BMW or something.

Now let me elaborate: As some have suggested to you, simply getting a speeding ticket is not, by any means, the end of the world. Be the responsible and mature adult you are, deal with it and move on; lesson learned. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time is generally not the excuse one should use to get rid of something or change something from better to worse. Personally, I have several speeding tickets on my record. So ******* what? Such as life. Keep your head up and move on.
Now, saying your going to sell the car to spend it on girls has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Now, granted I don't know you at all, but if you were sitting next to me when you uttered those words I'd probably have to knock your teeth down your throat, for saying something so utterly stupid. Unless a girl sincerely cares for you, they are a waste of time and money. IMO most of my ex girlfriends have been glorified ******. For the most part all they want is material possessions, to take over your house/appartment with their own ****, and try to change you. Why would you give up something you appearently like (your car) for something that can potentially ruin your life (women)? Your car does what you want it to do and never talked back.
Get the venting out about this "problem" so you feel better. Call your buddies, call your parents and get whatever it is that is REALLY on your chest, off. I don't know about the others out there, but I see underlying problems that your not sharing with the class. Keep the car, stay here at H-T and have a good life. Things can be far far worse than a ticket from a dick head cop.

Keep it! $2000 is pocket change when you really think about it, especially when you get your undergrad degree and a job, assuming your degree is not a liberal arts degree.
