i'm in the middle of painting my rims..i picked up a can of NBP from an auto place. I primered my rim grey and then have been periodically shooting it with the NBP. its black..but there are blue pearls in it.

is this normal?

hence the "pearl". yes its normal.

 

yea, i've gotten the same effect with automotive spray paint NHBP on my models. Just make sure you shake it alot!

 

yep... and if I am not mistaken... fbp has red pearl

yeah NHBP has blue, and Granada Black Pearl has gold, IDK forsure what FBP has, I don't remember if it was red as stated above

eh its my first time painting anything and they came out kind of poorly and i need to redo them..but i'll take some in the morning for you guys.

 

if i'm not mistaken...fbp has a blue flake...while nhb has gold ones

 

no, my itr is NHBP and you can definetly see the blue in it

here my car is an 01 ITR which is NHBP

i am most sure that FBP has a silver flake in it

 

yeah mine is NHBP too and you can only really see the pearl in it at night under certain lights.

 

i have a '00 itr and it does have blue flakes...nhb is supposed to have gold flakes. it is early and i could be wrong...

did you put the front end on or you bought it with it? i know some ppl who bought there ITR's with the front end, that had 00's, but it was re sprayed NHBP, let me have your headlamps
