Infinity Reference 611a
456 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms and 657 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms
or
Infinity Reference 5761a
56 watts RMS x 4 channels + 107 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + Noise 148 watts x 2 + 287 watts x 1 at 4 ohms
subs

Infinity Perfect 12.1
or
Infinity Perfect 12.1d [dual voice coil] why is DVC better????
or
Infinity
KAPPA PERFECT 12VQ

or
KAPPA PERFECT 12DVQ

Please let me know what you think. This is for my 94 Integra
I have an Alpine 9813 headunit with sub-out
I was possibly thinking of powering the speakers, but, thats a maybe.
I was leaning towards the:
Infinity Reference 611a
&
KAPPA PERFECT 12VQ / KAPPA PERFECT 12DVQ [I don't the difference between SVD & DVC besides one has twice the other, lol]
Thanks guys!

Get the 611a amp with the 12dvq. d = dual voice coil. With dual voice coil you can wire it for a 2 ohm load. Wire it for 2 ohms and you will have some kick *** bass.
I just installed the 611a with a 10dvq in a small sealed box and its super loud and clear.
I also installed 4 infinity speakers with the 111 X 4 amp (don't remember model number) and it sounds really good.
If you need more info or specifics hit me up.

thanks, but whats the difference between
a
Single Voice Coil [SVC]
and a
Double Voice Coil [DVC]???
a
Single Voice Coil [SVC]
and a
Double Voice Coil [DVC]???
Just what they describe.
A single voice coil speaker has only one voicecoil, that presents the amplifier with one set resistance......ex. 4 ohms is very common.
A dul voicecoil speaker has two voicecoils, that each present the amp with an equal resistance........ex. two four ohm voicecoils. These can be wired as either a 2 ohm load, or an 8 ohm load by using parrallel or series wiring.
Or you could use one voicecoil per channel of a two channel amp, and see 4 ohms across each channel. However, you risk damaging the speaker theoretically, if the levels aren't set properly, or there was differing signals between the 2 channels...(or so I have been told ).
The dual voicecoil just offers more flexibility, but if you don't need it, why deal with it.
For more information on voicecoil configuration, and wiring, check the tutorials on http://www.jlaudio.com . Or study up some at http://www.the12volt.com .
