Default Transmisison Fluid

I just recieved a JDM ITR Transmisison with the stock LSD and the 4.7 Final. The car is used mainly as and autox and road racing car with the occasional street driving. I am asking what type of transmission fluid you guys would recommend.

Thanks

Honda MTF as long as it doesn't grind. If it does, GM syncromesh friction modified. Search will help explain why.

I use Honda MTF II and regular Honda MTF in the ITR's.

No problems whatsoever.

96,000 miles with Honda MTF in a heavily tracked car.

The transmission is the only thing that hasn't broken so far.

I think I'm going to go with the Redline MTL. Any idea how many quarts the trans should take?

I don't know about Motul anymore. I killed it off within 1.5 months with only 2 gymkana events and everyday driving. Next for me is going to be Omega. Currently running Royal Purple only because the base had it for sale and I needed to dump the Motul as I was popping out of first gear, since the change, haven't popped out of gear.

Then I wonder why Honda JPN recommends MTF-II for the NSX, S2K, DC5R and the 2006 Civic?
