Default head gasket Questions h22

ok so i took off my head gasket last night and i forgot to reference its correct position. It almost looks symetrical. Anyone know the correct position so t hat all the holes line up right?

Also...does my head gasket look bad likeit needs to be replaced?

When putting a head gasket on, is it recommended to use a silicone based sealant with head gasket? If so...where would i put the silicone selant?

don't be cheap... buy a new head gasket.
most likely if you reuse it it will leak

hondahookup.com has a downloadable service manual for the preludes just go to the manuals section on the left hand side and you can find it.

i really hope that was a joke, might as well just lay down a bead of GE window & door caulk and cal it a day

and you NEED to replace head gaskets when ever you pull the head, its not even the surface of the head gakset that you need to look at, the metal looses its springyness, and will not seal properly
