Default Osaka Motors

Hey everyone. I recently made a thread asking where all i could purchase a JDM motor swap package. Someone informed me of Osaka Motorsports which is up in canada(from em anyway). I looked through their site and for the JDM H22 package they want 1850...which is the cheapest i have seen it thus far...but i am also informed that they(osaka) have been known for being scammers. Has anyone done business with them before that can give me some testimonials as to how their transaction went? Any info would be greatly appreciated. ill spend a little more money if i have to to make sure i get what i want. Let me know ppl. Thanks!

ya I have experience. You'll get your motor and everything, I live in Ottawa which is 1 1/2 hours from Montreal, where Osaka is located. Anyways I drove all the way to Montreal to pick up JDM headlights for my 4th gen, the guy said they had some good ones. When I got there the dude pulls out a pair of mangled lights they looked awful. Needless to say I didn't get them and the day was a huge waste of time, I was really pissed to say the least. They have a ton of engines so I can visually tell your there legit but I'd never go back again based on my experience.

Oaska motors or how ever you spell it have a bad habbit of sending motors that have been in flodded vehicles from my experince. HMOTORSonline.com is the best.

i got my motor from osaka motors. I wasnt too impressed with it. They said it would have a dizzy, and AC. It didnt, but i was paying 1k for an h23 longblock, so i didnt really complain.

I wouldnt do it again, but it wasnt HORRIBLE

Good to know, I was considering buying from them since I am in Canada (avoid extra duties).

Totally changed my mind now though

Osaka

Unless you can go to Osaka and hand pick your engine, you get what you pay for.
