i got this problem i both toda cams spec c and i have been hearing from a couple head that if i put those cams in a ls vtec with civic type r piston .the piston is going to hit the valve is that thrue let me know please need some help with it

 

need to find out if is going to hit or not please help me out

It sounds as if you need to do considerably more research and planning before you start constructing a high-compression LS-VTEC with big cams.

guess what sucker i put the cams toda c on my ls/vtec with civic type r pistons and guess what they did work it gave 30 more horse power of what my crower 3 did if you got a problem for all ya haters talking **** thats good i may not talk a perfect english but come an see me with some money and we can runit 12 .66 at quater mile sucker

30 more hp eh? You managed to put the cams in go to the dyno, then to the track for a run and come back to post about it in 2 hours?

don't be an idiot, obviously someone capable of imagineering such a fast and furious street machine knows what they're talking about, he's using his vast expertise to guesstimate what his new engine would dyno at, and run the quarter mile. don't question this dude, he has like 3 whole posts to his name, show some respect yo!

 

you know how can i tell i do does numbers or better because with the crower 3 i did a 13.1 and know i just gain 30 hourse power more and i know that the car will do thoseor better because i did a run with my boy with a k series that is doing 12.6 and i took him by 2 car so you can imagen what the car is doing if you pass someone by 2 cars and that dude is doing 12.6 all day with his k series
as i set let me know and we can run it

well thats impossible. you have friends that have k-series swaps and are talking like this? hmmm...interesting.

im still finding the fact that you managed to make a decision to put the cams in your motor, put them in your motor, AND tune that motor (which is running OVER 13.5:1 compression on pump gas...highly doubtful) in two hours a little hard to believe. you yourself must be a dyno in order to know that those cams gave you 30 hp.

Oh and BTW you didn't put the cams in and tune the ****** in two hours, it isn't possible for some one that can't form the simplest of sentences. Obviously you do not contain the mental capacity to think of such things before you speak.
