F22A - H22A Swap - IAB System pics needed
What i thought was the IAB's actually is not and now i have no idea where it is. I have searched this but have not found a proper picture that gives me an idea. If someone can take a pic or HAS a picture of their car's system that would be fantastic. I know that the IAB needs to be wired to A17 on the ECU...now i just need to find or BUY the IAB so i can get this swap done. Much appreciated.
the h22 in take air bypass system has a vacume control solinoide on a vacume canister on the botom of the intake manifold. after a certian rpm vacume is taken away from the IABs so that the secondary runners will now be opened.
also don't get it confused with the secondarys in the resonator of the h22 and h23. they too have a change in air path after a ceritan rpm. i disabled that a long time ago. no performace loss as far as i can tell.

All the stuff you need should come built into the intake manifold, but here's some pics to help you out

Big big help fellas....much appreciated. DAYUM....yeah i dont have that vacuum box at all on my ****. Guess I'm just gonna run the swap without it and hope for the best....from what i read...no real performance loss. One question though....will my ECU throw an CEL and go into limp mode for not having IAB connected. If so that would suck....
The question is would i go into LIMP mode for not having the IAB connected. If it throws a CEL but doesnt go into LIMP mode I'm fine with that.

Mine's disabled. I opened the intake mani, removed the butterfly plates from the actuator bar, and bolted everything back together. didn't lose performance at all. Bottom end has plenty of torque.
