So now that its all been said and done what cams..
Head's fully ready for somenew cams, i currently have ctr's in there, i do plan on spraying nitrous.. so lets look at the facts, i want something i can still rev to around 9100 with, my head's full valvetrain has been built by crower, stock bottem end, stuck on actually which cams will do me justice, i made 216whp and 167 ft of torque on these ctr's i gained almost 12whp from installing them i want nothing smaller then stage 2's.. but i'd like to go stage 3's CR on the motor is 11.6:1 compression test on the cyl was 210 across the board.

That was also on my shitty tuning i had on there at the time, now i've gotten so much better, igiton was more advanced and AFR was down to the dime, i believe now with these new headers i plan on putting webnesday i will break 225 whp all motor and possible 170 torque wise.. And when and if i can find a good set of cams at a good price..

no drugs keith, the dyno says it all, now for my setup for rp or w/e racing you say my motor is stock, well the bottem end is stock but lets look at the bottem end i have, i have lightweight cast iron pistons thats a big plus over most bottem ends..
Here's the setup as to date.
The head::
Crower built ( Intake/Exhust Valves, Tita Springs/retainers(dual))
CTR Cams from a 98 spec b16b w/ ITR cam gears.
Skunk2 intake manifold p/p w/ hondata gasket
Others:
NGK plugs/wires
b18c3 dizzy at 18degrees
Short air intake with k/n drop in
Megan Race 4-1 headers
Apexi n1 2.5 exhust
Test pipe 2.5 in/out
Hypertech grounding kit
excedy stage 2 full clutch
Running 93 oct shell v-power
Tuned fully on a p28 using crome 12.9 AFR VTEC is at 5100
Redline set at 9600k.
Now lets look at some of the tuning i did, on the low cam i'm running 28 degrees in igition, on the high cam i'm running 33.50 degrees, no the car doesn't knock it hasn't yet...
Now another thing i've found the top end power of having the dizzy set to 18, instead of the stock 16 degrees is kindof cool, believe what you fucken want, but the dyno says it all.. this motor is just that bad ***...tuning is the end all, i believe if u wanna get techincal, i gained almost another 10-13 whp just from tuning..and almost 8 ft of torque.

What dyno was that 216 whp done on?? Thats hella high for that setup. Ur definitely going to need to upgrade the pistons to get more compression to hit 250 whp. Also need thin headgasket, mill, port and polish and a much better header. Go with comptech, smsp or wait for kingmotorsports new header comin out..gonna be a beast they say.
its running a spoon headgasket, the comp ratio on the motor stages at 11.6:1. thx.

dunno the total area, My uncle brought his 944 turbo porch up some where in north bama, and his friend drove my car, we were up there helping my wife's family move into a new house so i didn't have time to go, they did three dyno pulls on each car, the first two on mine were with the hood close, did 198 and 206, then i got 216 with the hood open, and a fan, no tuning on the dyno thats my street tune too.. i can try to find out the name of the place, they bought their dyno from Import builders tho, i think.

wow....that dyno says otherwise tho dont it lol, i believe the motor really had no problem breaking 200, however i do believe the amount of igition advancing i'm running along with some other tids with the fuel maps and just ...a great AFR thats smooth across the board helps alot... believe it, the dyno's right there, i aint some kid that just posted saying i made 400 whp and i dont have a video or pic of anything...sorry if u dont believe it but i showed proof, now, if u dont have any advice on which cams i should go ahead with, i'd appicate you not coming on my thread and calling bs when i showed proof..

I could buy the 216 WHP, my 1.8 motor does that. I have to call BS on the 167 ft-lbs. of torque. No 1.8 that I have seen or heard of has done close to that, all motor. Looking at graph you might want to move VTEC up about 500 RPM, it will greatly reduce that nasty dip there.

if that is your "stock bottom end" then how is it a 84mm with ITR cams, a iceman intake and vafc......
