Yeah, and when you get the kit, do yourself a favour and crank the boost up to 50 psi.

Saw one at SEMA last year...I think it was Greddy, may have been HKS. It was very sad not seeing that turbo up there at the front like we've come so used to seeing it.

 

how do RSX's do w/ turbo's ? is the compression ratio good for turbo/supercharger? or would it be better to build up the engine and go all motor? help an acura-newbie out?

 

well from what i understand, the rsx is going to be able to handle the turbo just fine...greddy and revhard both mention being able to run 7lbs of boost...the revhard kit will be out by the end of the month and greddy said by june or july...the only thing holding greddy back is the LEV crap they are trying to keep it under...compression ratio shouldn't be a problem for long...let the aftermarket keep rolling the way it is and internals should be out in no time...

 

With the base model compression ratio at a boost friendly 9.8:1 it's hard not to imagine that there is life on the darkside for the RSX.

The Type S model's 11.0:1 is a tad bit high but not impossible.
