i bought a obd0 to obd1 conversion from jkobd. im running a 92-93 pr4. my alt. light comes on after 4k and will stay on till i go below 4k but testing with my voltmeter showed like 14.2volts at idle then 14.39volts constant as i revved the motor. is that right? or what could be wrong? the alt is new but has been sitting for 2 years

also my oil pressure light doesnt come on when i start the car. it worked fine on the stock motor so i was thinking its my oil pressure switch but i unplugged the wire and grounded it and the light still never came on. what could be wrong?
