im looking to buy a a95 asap, but want to find the best deal. i was reading the canon powershot thread and a few people said that the a95 was only like $250 on beachcamera.com, but on the site it says like $369. im quite confused, but am still searching. if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated(sp?)! are the "factory refurbished" ones any good off of ebay? anyone got any experience w/ them? thanks

yea. i got mine from beach camera. like 5 months ago. im gunna find my copy of the reciete (spelling) and find out how much it was. i dont think it was 369...

f the a95. using 4 AA batteries sucks ***.

I used to have one. Then got a g6. U can still prolly find them. there about as old as the a95. 7mp tho.

I worked well but sold it for the digital rebel XT.

 

just because jobe took amazing pics with the a95 doesnt mean everybody else can.
they were discontinued for a reason. if the camera was that good, then why would canon stop making them.

well then what kind of camera would you recommend? im a beginner and dont got a lot of $$$$, so i thought this would be a good start. is there anything cheaper with the same/similar specs?

I'd get the a95, for the price it's a good camera. I used to have one but sold it and now have a g6

 

I got mine through Dell for like $240 after shipping.

They always have plenty of deals going on.
