leaking rad fluid

Default leaking rad fluid

lately ive smelled rad fluid burnin so i checked and its leaking a little bit out the top of the rad.....where the radiator has the little clips bent over....anyone know what to do to fix this?

Your best bet, to be on the safe side and just get a new rad. However there is products that are designed for fixing rad leaks, I believe they're almost like and epoxy/fiber glass compound....(I'm not a 100% sure.) which can be found at auto parts stores...

I guess it depends on the severity of the leak....post up some pictures if you can

im pretty sure i wont be able to patch it up. after just looking at it its almost all the way across the top...time for a new rad

Yeah, if its big, or you're worried about a patch job, just get a new rad...peace of mind.
