Default Strange Question

Are the cap nuts that hold down the spark plug wire cover a universal part, no matter what kind of Honda/Acura you have (as long as it's a b-series)? The reason why I ask is I bought a used wire cover but it's not coming with the cap nuts to hold it down, and the closest Acura dealership is an hour and a half from me, while the closest Honda dealership is 20 minutes away. They say they can't order Acura parts, so although I am ASSUMING this to be true, I'd like to know before I order it and find out it won't work...not because it'd be a terrible waste of money, but just because it'd be a waste of time

Pretty much every Honda Accord, Honda Civic, and Integra ever made used the same part number. What I find funny is, these little acorn nuts cost almost $7.00 a piece at the steelership.

Why dont you just use your old ones? Its not like they do anything other than hold the spark plug cover in place. Its the lower end of them under the spark cover that have to be torqued correctly to hold down the valve cover.

I don't have any old ones...when I got the car it came without a plug cover, and with no plug cover came no plug cover nuts

Advise? Go to a junk yard. The owner will more than likely let you walk with a handfull for free.

most if not all hondas of late 80's plus are going to have these holding down valve cover. junkyard is the best bet!
