How stupid of me. Here I was shiffting at 4000 rpm thinking I was getting the most out of the engine.

I can imagine somebody going to his Chevy dealer saying :" WTF man... my Vtec is not engaging on my Trailblazer, the light doesn't come on..."

I'm glad he varified that you can use them on the track or on the street, I was under the assumption that they were illegal on the street.
