how to take off a flywheel?
Hey guys got another question. I have a pulled motor in my garage and need the flywheel off of it... how do u get it off because when i try lossening the bolts the flywheel just spins. Thanks.
screw holding the fly wheel to take it off, just use a compressor and impact wrench, i sex it everynight. lol i love it . . .. . . but, what is this tool called though? ide rather just use a screw driver.
I forget what its called but it has teeth on one end that go into the flywheel like a gear, and then you bolt it to the block so it cant turn. Its a nice tool to have if you do that kind of work everyday but I have a compressor and that works fine for me the Few times I need to take it off.
Just remember to torque those bolts back down properly or youll have to pull it all apart again later
