what needs to be replaced when opening a transmission?
I need to have my 2nd gear syncro replaced..
what else should i replace while im in there? like bearings, etc....
I want to put an ITR LSD in (my trans --> YS1 93 GSR)

I usually find myself replacing the following (in order of commonality):
1.) Input shaft bearing & seal
2.) Differential bearings & shim
3.) Axle seals
4.) Damaged shift forks
5.) 5th-Reverse gear synchro set (synchro's, synchro hub, synchro sleeve)
6.) Mainshaft bearing & shim/thrust washer
The first three are pretty common items to replace.
