Default Hunting Blk door hooks

Do you have, or know of any place I can get those black door hooks? I'm looking for the "loop" that's bolted down on the door sill. It has two large torque bolts that go into it. I'm looking for one in black, as good of condition as I can find them in. Majestic no longer has them, so I'm in the hunt to find them.

Please post if you have 'em, or PM with pricing.

I will not take them unless you can give me a picture of their condition.

Antirice: No, the part that's located on the door sill, not hte actual door.

Alupso: Yes, part number three. That's a clear image, did you get that off of Majestic? Mine don't show up that clearly. But yes, part number 3. Majestic shows it offered, but when I ordered they said they do not carry it in stock, and that they wouldn't be.

Have you tried slhonda? http://www.slhonda.com , where I got the pic from.

They show up but not sure if they are stocked, have you tried your local Honda dealership?

Bump

I am still hunting this part and neither Majestic or San Leandro Honda can order the part as it has been discontinued.

Please put forth a message if you have this part to spare. I don't wanna go the route of dying it...

Thanks in advance

They're pretty easily sourced at a junkyard.

OK, I have a really dumb question... What the hell are those things for? What do they do? Why are they there?

I was just pondering this today...

I've talked it over with a couple people. The only logical explanation we had was that it pushes the door up a little bit so it doesn't pinch the seat belt in the door.

Anyone know otherwise?

PS-Bump...

I have replied to both PMs, awaiting replies.

Wanting to know condition/pix(if possible) and if you can include good-condition torque bolts + bolt caps for this peice.

If you can find two in black, I am definitly interested. Looking for two hooks, four bolts, and four caps (the black cap that covers the torque bolts). Obviously if the bolts are stripped they're useless to me, but I'd still take the caps and hooks.

Asking price? PM
